For many people, our professional lives are especially weak to limiting beliefs. Imposter syndrome is one of the commonest manifestations—feeling like a fraud or doubting our skills, even when we’ve labored onerous to earn our success.

When we hold self-limiting beliefs, our confidence begins to erode. We doubt our skills and query our worthiness, continually second-guessing ourselves. This insecurity turns into a self-fulfilling prophecy, as we turn out to be hesitant to take risks or seize new alternatives. Our motivation dwindles, and we discover ourselves in a comfort zone, unwilling to step outside and discover uncharted territories.
